  9. Hello!  My name is Richard Troiano (Sir Cathamore) and I have
  10. been playing LORD for about 1 year and play on about 10 different
  11. Sacramento BBS's.  The first time I ever used BBS's (Central Park
  12. West BBS 351-1476)  the first thing I did was play a game called
  13. Legend of the Red Dragon.  By the time I quit, I was addicted to
  14. it!  I used all of my time (60 mins) playing that and other
  15. games.  Now I am the Co-SysOp of that BBS and am still playing
  16. LORD.  But I don't like it as much as I used to!  During that
  17. year I found little bugs and things in the game (Hints).  After a
  18. while I decided to make a LORD Hint file.  Here it goes!

  23. Well Most of you know the JENNIE hint by now don't you?  Well if
  24. you don't here it is:

  26. Go into the forest and type "jennie".  Then it says jennie? 
  27. Jennie Garth? Define Her!"  
  28.  
  29. Here are the things I found that you can say to describe her.  
  30.  
  31. If you want to get hit, type one of these:
  32.  
  33. Dung:  You get Slapped and turned into a frog until you
  34. apologize.
  35.  
  36. ugly:  You get slapped, Thrown from the game and when you come
  37. back you have 1 hit point!
  38.  
  39. If you want to be nice say these things:
  40. foxy: You get 1 gem.  
  41. sexy: you get one user Battle.
  42. lady: You get some gold (NOT MUCH!)
  43. fair: I'm not sure.  It says that you feel excited.
  44.  
  45. Then you can type these if you don't want anything:
  46. Dumb, Star, Nice.
  47.  
  48. On another note go to the bartender in town and change your name
  49. to these, You will get a little remark:

  51. Barak: nay, The real Barak would decapitate you if he found out!
  52. seth: You are not seth able!  Don't use his name in vain!
  53. seth able: You are not god!
  54. turgon: haw!  Hardly, Turgon Has muscles.
  55. red dragon:  Oh, Go plague some other land! 
  56. Dragon: you ain't Bruce lee so get out of here!
  57. violet:  Nay. Hardly, Violet has Breasts. 
  58. Bartender: nay.  The bartender is smarter than you.
  59. Chance:  Why not chance with a Rattlesnake?

  61. Here are some More hints:

  63. -- When That old lady comes up to you in the forest and offers to
  64. heal you for one gem just say YES!!  She gives you 1 extra hit
  65. point for half the price of the bartender!
  66.  
  67. -- There is a way to Rob the bank!  Just try to!
  68.  
  69. -- Use all of your Death Knight attacks before you end all of
  70. your forest fights to get a higher chance of a Death Knight
  71. meeting!

  73. -- Don't listen to the bard until after 2 forest fights to
  74. increase your chance of getting your bank gold doubled.
  75.  
  76. -- In the Beginning of the game where it asks you if you want to
  77. enter the realm, list players or quit press "S" for a story by
  78. Seth Able.

  80. -- In the main menu (in town) press "1" to see the game stats. 
  81. That is a one not an "L".  Press the number one.
  82.  
  83. --Press 1,2 or 3 in the (Y)e old bank and you will get little
  84. remarks..  And if you are a theif there are some special
  85. remarks..  Find the key..?  What does that one mean?
